Running title: Ancient English romances.
The first volume of Ritson's "Ancient Engleish metrical romanceës," revised by E. Goldsmid (3 vols. Edinburgh, 1884) with a new t.-p. In that edition the peculiar spelling of the original (1802) is discarded.
