"Le Nouveau testament ..." and "Les pseaumes de David ..." have their own title pages dated MDCLXXXVI [1686]. Each has a separate register, and were also issued separately. Cf. ESTC.

LC copy forms part of the Jefferson Exhibit Collection. Imperfect: wanting 3I6 in Old Testament; leaf E5 in the Psalms is partial, wanting text.

LC copy is Thomas Jefferson's, but not intialled by him (contrary to Sowerby). Extensive inscription on free front-endpaper, naming Simon Rayde as having bought this book in Hamburg in 1703, and then caused it to be delivered to his cousin, Giles Allegre (the writer) 18 Mar. 1713. With the Library of Congress's 1815 bookplate.
