Work Description

March 1312 and England is divided and Mathilde of Westminster senses a challenge to the throne and rebel Robert Bruce prowls the Scottish border seeking an advancement. The King and Queen are forced to flee to a fortified priory and when one of the royal party is murdered Mathilde must find the perpetratoe before the King loses his throne.
