Edition Notes
Written by David Fassmann.--NUC pre-1956.
This work was sought and confiscated by the censors in Prussia.--Gesamtverzeichnis des deutschsprachigen Schrifttums, 1700-1910; and, Georgi. Allgemeines europäisches Bücher-Lexicon.
There exists another state of this work, which is mostly a line-for-line resetting. The resetting also has a 1735 imprint, but may actually have been published in 1741 to accompany a volume of documents, published as "Zweÿter Theil" in 1741. This state has 26 lines of text on p. 667 about the town Cönnern (or Köndern), while the other state has 18 lines. Both states list businessman Peter Hohmann of Cönnern in the index, but only this state includes any text about him on the cited p. 667. Also, this state has 4 lines of text on p. 668 about the town Löbechin, while the other state has 10 lines, with added information about the local beer. In addition, there are several distinctive variations in catchwords, including in this state, the use of the wrong catchword on p. 234, the omission of the "i" in the catchword on p. 113, and other variations on p. 32, 101-102, 146-147, 151, 159, 162-163, 193, 243, 251, 261, 278, 297, 304, 353, 359, 384-385, 490, 501, 539, 658, 665-666, 696, 743, 850, 992-993, 1025, 1053, and others.
