Part 1 originally printed under title: The history of the Five Indian Nations depending on the province of New-York in America, New York, 1727. Parts 1, 2 and all additional contents in this edition bear some resemblance to text of 1727.

"Papers relating to an Act of the Assembly of the province of New-York, for encouragement of the Indian trade, &c. and for prohibiting the selling of Indian goods to the French, viz. of Canada", p. 1-44, 6th group, has divisional title page and separate register.
"The treaty held with the Indians of the Six Nations, at Philadelphia, in July, 1742", p. [45]-86, 6th group, have divisional title page.
"A treaty held at the town of Lancaster, in Pennsylvania, by the honourable the lieutenant-governor of the province, and the honourable the commissioners for the provinces of Virginia and Maryland, with the Indians of the Six nations, in June, 1744, p. "A vocabulary of some words and names used by the French authors, which are not generally understood by the English that understand the French language, and may therefore be useful to those that intend to read the French accounts, or compare them with the accounts now published", p. xv-xvi, printed in parallel columns, gives the names used by the French for the tribes of the Five Nations compared to the names used by the English or the Five Nations tribes, also known as the Iroquois Confederacy including the old Five Nations of New York, the Mohawk, Oneida, Onondaga, Cayuga, and Seneca peoples. The Six Nations included the tribe of the Tuscaroras in North Carolina.
