SCNHRB c. 1 has some closely cropped margins on the plates, occasionally affecting the plate numbers. There are tears in the gutter of the prelim. pages, not affecting the text.

SCNHRB c. 1 has a modern green cloth library binding with gilt-lettered spine and all edges gilt. The leaves of plates are bound in at the end of the volume, following the text.

SCNHRB c. 2 (39088013305412) is imperfect: the added title pages for Fasciculus primus / Erstes Heft, and p. 31-32, are wanting.
