The Thomas Aquinas Birthday Book Collection

Graphic Source: Connor Morley

“Wonder is the desire of knowledge.” - Thomas Aquinas

Saint Thomas Aquinas (January 28, 1225 - March 7, 1274) was a Dominican Catholic priest, friar, and theologian. His works have remained among the most famous and well-cited pieces of Christian theology and have inspired countless philosophers and theologians over the centuries. In addition, they have strengthened the faiths of millions of believers. This collection has been curated to celebrate Aquinas' 798th birthday, and contains many of his writings as well as the writings of other both Christian and secular thinkers, both inspired by the Thomist tradition as well as lying outside of it.

We hope that this collection will instill an intellectually-rigorous disposition on faith and the natural world, and will inspire more of the conversations that his works generated both during his life and since his death over seven centuries ago.

Note: You can read or borrow a book if the bar underneath the cover says "Borrow" or "Read." If a book says it is "not in library" or "checked out," a copy might still be available! Click on the book's cover to see if you can borrow one of the other editions.
