Edition Notes
Loosely described by Wing and other authorities as "editions," S2924 and S2925 are part of a series of undated quartos thought to have been published between 1684-1688. Variations in printings involve minor changes in punctuation (S2924 reads on t.p. "Julius Cæsar.", S2925 reads "Julius Cæsar:"), errors in paging, etc. cf. Bartlett and Pollard, A census of Shakespeare's plays in quarto, 1594-1709 (1939); H.C. Bartlett, "Quarto editions of Julius Caesar" in the Library, ser. 3, v. 4, p. 122-132, April, 1913
Date of publication suggested by Wing and NUC pre-1956 imprints
Errors in paging: in S2924 p. 46-47 is misprinted 47-46, S2925 has p. 15 misprinted 51
Reproduction of original in the Harvard University Library
