Patricia Sullivan

Patricia Sullivan received an undergraduate degree in History and Eductation from Emory University in 1972, a master's degree in History from Boston College in 1974, and a doctorate in History from Emory University in 1983. She is currently Associate Professor of History and African-American Studies at the University of South Carolina and a fellow at the W.E.B. Du Bois Institute at Harvard University. Her books include Days of Hope: Race and Democracy in the New Deal Era and Freedom Writer: Virginia Foster Durr, Letters from the Civil Rights Years.
