Harry Harris (born 1952) is the Chief Football Writer of the ‘Daily Mirror’. Previously with the ‘Daily Mail’, ‘Newcastle Journal’ and ‘London Evening News’, he joined his current employers in 1985. He was voted British Sports Journalist of the Year and Sports Council’s Reporter of the Year in 1993, and British Sports Reporter of the Year in 1998. His previous books include ghosted autobiographies of Glenn Hoddle, Paul Merson and Gary Mabbutt, biographies of ‘Ruud Gullit’ and Terry Venables, and a Chelsea diary with Ruud Gullit.-Harper Collins
