Thomas Hagey was born near Cambridge, Ontario. He is the author of several books of parody, the most successful of which is PLAYBOAR Magazine--Entertainment for Pig Farmers, which has sold nearly a million copies worldwide. In 1986 Hagey built his now famous Pigmobile and set out on a publicity tour which took him around North America in 37 days. The tour's mission was twofold: promote his Book PLAYBOAR, and support the Second Harvest Food Bank. The "Ham's Across America" tour raised a half ton of Ham to support the Second Harvest Food Bank. He has sold nearly 1.5 million books worldwide, and has made numerous media appearances.
